 Music---Auction--- Food---Fun---Fun---Fun

Last year, when our Verhelst Recovery House was on the brink of bankruptcy, YOU, our community, with the support of Old Bisbee Music, made the First Rock for Rehab a great success, and we were able to keep our doors open. Additionally, your donations of food, cash and items for our monthly yard sale, flooding our doors before and after the benefit gave the Verhelst House enough working capital to help us get back on our feet, enabling us to continue on in our mission.

The Verhelst Recovery House has been a part of our community since 1969. For the past forty years Bisbee’s Verhelst Recovery House has been offering recovery to men experiencing the often deadly dilemma of alcohol and/or drug addiction. As part of their recovery program, the men of Verhelst have been working out in our community as well as working for our community. And, the men of Verhelst have been busy in our community this year: sweeping the streets for the Car Show, setting up the stage for the Blues Festival, Rebuilding Together, or maybe they were helping you, out in your yard. They have been there! So once again we are asking YOU to be there.

So, Help Us Keep On Keepin’ On!

Join us on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 at the Turquoise Valley Golf Course from 12:00 to 5:00pm for a day long concert of Music, Auction Action, Food and Fun!

All proceeds are to benefit our Verhelst Recovery House. Items you may have to donate for our ongoing yard sales may be dropped off at the Verhelst Recovery House located on Tovreaville Road (next to the animal shelter) or you may call us for pick-up at 520.432.3764. We also accept food and donated vehicles. Our e-mail address is vrhouse@hotmail.com Any items may also be brought along with you when you join us for the benefit on January 31st! And of course, cash donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated any time.
